With a list of his sculptures including this example, and a booklet on David Backhouse by the Bruton St Gallery. Signed to the base, D Backhouse, 5/6, and with a foundry mark. 61cms high *David Backhouse was born in Wiltshire and studied at the Royal West of England College of Art, he is a Fellow of the Royal Society of British Sculptors and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
