1871, by J Wardle, North Street, Middlesbro, mauve printed with coloured highlights, diameter 20.5cm; together with a WS & Co, Wedgewood, child's plate made for the German market; a Wileman plate black printed with a scene of two soldiers and a negro, another child's plate black printed with the motto 'Frugality is a fortune & industry a good estate', and six further child's plate with moulded floral borders (10)
