RICHARD BUDD TEA SERVICE - ROYAL WORCESTER INTEREST
a tea service, each hand painted with Fruit and foliage and with gilt decoration. Comprising, Sugar Bowl and Milk Jug, Sandwich Plate, 6 cups and saucers, and 6 side plates. Each piece signed, F R Budd, and with a printed mark in green underneath. Sandwich plate 10 1/4ins (26.5cms) across. (21)
*Richard Budd came as an apprentice to Royal Worcester in around 1927-28, and stayed for 4 years. Afterwards he taught china painting and did a considerable amount of work painting on 'Blanks'.
