AN ART NOUVEAU GOLD BROOCH BY COMTE PROSPER D'EPINAY DE BRIORT of circular form, depicting a lady with her hair up and wearing a necklace of rose-cut diamonds, with a further rose-cut diamond in her hair and a small emerald to her shoulder, signed with initial B, French mark to the pin, 2.5cm. dia. Comte Prosper d'Epinay de Briort (1836-1914) was a French sculptor and jeweller who worked for Boucheron.
