shaped like fluted shells on three scroll legs with shell-shaped "thumbpiece" handles, each crested and inscribed underneath with a scratchweight (3-14.5, 3-19, 3-14.5, 3-9) by Robert Calderwood, Dublin 1752-54*; 4" (10 cms) long; 14.65 oz (4)
*These salts have no date letter, but the Hibernia stamp has a particular shaped outline that was only used between 1752 and 1754.
