RARE. Presentation copies from Thomas Bewick (1753-1828) are rare. Pasted onto the endpaper of this copy is a further note, 'Copy of Birds - my sister's long cherished Edition, 1805, - which is now ready to send to you; if you will be so good as to point out the safest and best way of forwarding the parcel; I am my Dear Sir yours very truly Jane Bewick'.
