A CHARLES I / COMMONWEALTH ASCRIBED WEST COUNTRY APOSTLE SPOON, the gilt figure with a sacred dove nimbus, pricked on the back of the bowl with the initials "RD" over "B" and the date "1666", struck in the bowl with a crowned "X" mark, by an unascribed maker, Exeter 1640-60; 7.45" (18.8 cms) long; 1.25 oz.
