TWO VERY SIMILAR GEORGE II / III CAST CANDLESTICKS on hexafoil bases with knopped columns, shell decoration and spool-shaped capitals with detachable nozzles, each engraved on the base with a coat of arms*, one candlestick by John Cafe, London 1739; the other by William Cafe, London 1768, each approx. 8.5" (22 cms) high; 34.35 oz (2) *Though the arms are not the same on each candlestick, they do have a branch of the same family in common.
