CROTAL BELLS - ROBERT WELLS probably 18thc, including a large crotal bell stamped RW for Robert Wells and a number (23 or 28), 11cms diameter, also with a smaller crotal bell by Robert Wells (9cms dia, stamped 15), and a smaller unmarked crotal bell with floral design. Also with a string of metal bells to hang on a horse. *Robert Wells was based in Aldbourne in Wiltshire in the 18thc, it was a large foundry that produced various sized crotal bells.
