A BRITISH MUSEUM COPY.
A resin copy recently made for the British Museum of an Antoninianus of Carausius, obverse only with radiate bust left with sword and shield. The Original now in the collection of the British Museum. With the original backing board for this section of the Hoard, 'The Linchmere Hoard' by P.H. Webb being an extract from the Numismatic Chronicle 1925 and a similar smaller extract.
