A FIRST WORLD WAR CASUALTY PAIR TO THE MACHINE GUN CORPS.
A first world war pair comprising War Medal and Victory Medal named to 82706 Pte G. Sharp MGC. With dog tags and Machine Gun Corps cap badge, MGC shoulder badge and 1914 Christmas Tin. George Sharp died from wounds on the 3rd of October 1918 and is buried at Sunken Road Cemetry south of Arras. Born on 3/10/18 in Faversham, Kent. He served with the 57th Battalion.
