A 1786 PATTERN VARIANT INFANTRY SPADROON. With an 81cm straight, single sided pointed blade engraved with royal cipher and crown amongst scrolls, trumpet and Tarleton style helmet, the handle with checkered ebony grip with central gilt 'cigar' band decorated with flags, trumpets and other items, shaped langets and cushion pommel, in a leather scabbard with twin ring suspension, marked 'Woolley & Co. Birmingham', 99cm overall.
