AN 1827 PATTERN RIFLE OFFICERS SWORD. An 1827 pattern sword with an 83cm pointed and partially fullered blade with rubbed etched decoration, possibly marked VRI. The guard with strung bugle within a cartouche, wire wound grip and rounded pommel. In steel scabbard with twin ring suspension.
