The Great Horseless Carriage Co., Limited, The Motor Mills, Coventry. A large, vertical format double-sided printed advertising sheet, dating from 1896 and promoting the company's wares, with an illustration and description of the Mills, six images of motor vehicles of the period, numerous press encomiums, and further text and images on the reverse. Horizontal crease marks where formerly folded and some browning and slight soiling through age, but now behind clear polythene in an appropriately sized folder, and a remarkable surviving example of period press publicity. Size of sheet 40x 15-inches (101.5 x 38cm).
