Punch Cycling Cartoons.
A quarto-size loose-leaf black binder holding an excellent collection of 112 cycling cartoons from the magazine 'Punch' during the period 1869 to 1937. Most are cutting from original copies of the magazine, with just a few in photocopy. The artists include many well-known names, such as Bernard Partridge, Frank Reynolds, Ernest H. Shepard and Tom Browne. The whole nicely presented, with a two-page typed introduction, the cartoons clean and neatly pasted on white A4 sheets of paper within clear polythene sleeves. The last six sleeves hold a selection of 34 cartoons from the book 'Mr. Punch Awheel', plus a small number of cartoons loose in the last sleeve.
