GEORGE GEARY - SIGNED ENGLAND CRICKET BAT, 1928-1929
a miniature cricket bat formally owned by George Geary, signed on one side in ink with cricketers from the 1928/29 tour to Australia. Signatures including Percy Chapman, Jack White, George Geary, Douglas Jardine, Les Ames, Phil Mead, Jack Hobbs, Patsy Hendren, Maurice Tate, Harold Larwood, Tich Freeman, Wally Hammond, Maurice Leyland, George Duckworth, Ernest Tyldesley and Herbert Sutcliffe (also signed in ink on the handle, Geo Geary), bat 31cms high. Also with a photograph of Geary in 1926 and a team photograph (possibly Leicestershire), various cricket tour programmes (Australia 1930, India 1946, Leicestershire etc), and various paper cuttings about Geary's career.
