an interesting wooden mallet possibly made in Lignum Vitae, the handle and body with engine turned decoration, the handle unscrews to reveal a cavity inside. The base with a portrait of John Wesley, marked John Wesley, M A, Born June 17th 1703, Died March 2nd 1791. 19.5cms high
