A Great War trio comprising 1914-15 Star named to 13606 Pte F.W. Gambel R. Berks R. and War and Victory medals similarly named, mounted as worn. Private Frank Gambel is recorded with the Royal Berkshire Regiment and 8th Royal Berkshire Regiment. With an unmounted second World War collection of four medals comprising 1939/45 and Atlantic Stars, Defence and War Medals, unnamed as issued but with a letter on Retirement from Naval service to a Sub-Lieutenant Derek L. Gambel RNVR and a photograph of RN personnel.
