A 19TH CENTURY SWEDISH INFANTRY OFFICERS PICKELHAUBE.
A lacquered black leather Swedish Infantry Officers Pickelhaube, possibly for the 4th Infantry Regiment, with a brass spike with five pierced holes, the plate with four round headed rivets, with brass backstrap, the front with a broad brass mounting fitted with a Swedish Helmet plate with three crowns within a scrolling shield, with differing cockades to either side, mounted with the number 4 to the left side, with brass chin scales and leather liner. 23cm high, 28cm front to back.
