AN OMANI SILVER MOUNTED KHANJAR AND BELT.
The dagger with a 16cm curved centrally ribbed blade on a silver mounted horn handle, the scabbard with similar foliate metal mounts and bound 'silver' wire decoration, on an elaborate woven fabric belt with decorative bound wire and ring mounts.
Provenance: purchased by the owner's father in Muscat when serving in the Arabian Gulf.
