AN 1885 PATTERN TROOPERS CAVALRY SWORD AND SCABBARD.
With an 87cm curved pointed and fullered blade with numerous stamped marks including WD beneath an arrow, 5/88 and various inspection marks, the sword marked for Weyersberg, Kirschbaum & Co Solingen. The steel guard with turned over edges and 'Maltese Cross' piercing, with black leather grips held in place with five rivets.
