A 1908 PATTERN TROOPERS CAVALRY SWORD AND SCABBARD.
With an 89cm straight tapering fullered blade with thrusting type point, marked P08 to the back and with Enfield inspection marks to both sides and date marks for December 1914. With a broad sheet steel guard with reinforced edge and rounded pommel, with a composition grip with checkered surface. With a black painted steel scabbard with twin ring suspension and stamped marks including a date mark for 1915, 102cm overall.
