With a 106cm (42inch) barrel with ram rod below, with flintlock action,the sideplate engraved with 'Tower' and Crown above GR, with proof marks to the barrel, with twin strap hanging fittings, brass trigger guard and butt plate. 147cm overall. This example probably produced outside the Ordnance system during the American Revolutionary War by an East India Company contractor who was allowed to use the India Pattern Side plate.
