AN ORDNANCE ISSUE 'PAGET' CARBINE.
A New Land Series Carbine, possibly Peace of Amiens period c1802-3. With a 40.5cm tapering barrel with underslung swivelling rammer, the flintlock mechanism with sliding safety and waterproof pan lock, the sideplate engraved with a Crown above GR and 'Tower', with numerous proof marks to barrel and stock, with side bar and ring, brass trigger guard and butt plate. 80cm overall.
