An Ashantee medal named to 527 Private R. Jones 2.Bn. 23 R.W. Fus 1873-4. Richard Jones saw service in Malta and Chatham, alongside his award for the Ashantee campaign he seems to have been recommended for his Long Service and Good Conduct award in 1876. Sold with photocopied research.
