Scenes from the 1929 TT & from Donington 1987
A framed, mounted and glazed black-and-white drawing with white highlights, signed Nevin lower right, depicting a scene from the 1929 Ards Circuit TT, showing cars Nos. 71, Merz (Mercedes Benz) and 35, Campari (Alfa Romeo). Image size 28.5 x 36.5cm. Good condition. Also, a mounted but unframed mixed media drawing of a Donington race scene, 'as used in Motor Magazine' according to an inscription on the reverse. Image size 31.5 x 46.5cm. Signed Frederic Nevin lower right and inscribed Donington 87. Good condition. Together with two framed, mounted but unglazed and unsigned oil or gouache studies, both in the style of Nevin and in good condition, both images measuring 30.5 x 40.5cm, one of a garage scene and the other of the Hotel de France, Le Mans.
