The Light Car, 1937 to 1939
Six uniformly hardbound quarto volumes in brown cloth with gilt lettering to the front cover and spines. All of the covers a little rubbed and marked, but the contents, albeit with page browning, very clean and sound. The first five volumes, the issues all bound with their covers and advertisements, comprise: Vol. XLIX, No. 1265, March 5th 1937, to No. 1275, May 14th, 1937; Vol. LII, No. 1339, August 5th 1938, to No. 1353, November 11th, 1938; then, in three volumes, Vol. LIII, No. 1369, March 3rd 1939, to Vol. LIV, No. 1405, November 11th, 1939. The last volume holds the issues from Vol. LII, No. 1354, November 18th, 1938, to Vol. LIII, No. 1379, May 12th, 1939, bound without the advertisements and rear covers, but with the front covers all bound in together at the back of the volume.
