Ella Phillips BA (Hons)
Ella joined Lawrences in 2025 as a Junior Cataloguer and Valuer, taking up her first role in the auction world following her graduation from the University of Nottingham with a BA joint honours degree in History and History of Art.
As part of her role, Ella assists across all departments of the saleroom, cataloguing and valuing a wide variety of items that come through the auction house. Her academic background has given her a strong grounding in historical research and the interpretation of objects, skills which she is now applying to the diverse range of art, antiques and collectables encountered in daily valuations and sales.
Keen to broaden her expertise and learn from her colleagues, Ella is enthusiastic about building her career as a general valuer and enjoys the variety that comes with working across such a wide spectrum of items.
She loves exploring new areas of the arts and heritage, and continuing to deepen her interest in cultural history.
