Matthew catalogues our Coin and Militaria auctions and loves researching the history that these sales cover. With a long held interest in coins and medals Matthew is always interested to see interesting and unusual items.
Matthew also takes responsibility for the running of our book auctions, working closely with our highly experienced and well respected consultant Robert Ansell. He oversees two book auctions a year which contain a fascinating range of books, maps and photographs. With a particular love of private press books from the early 20th century Matthew is always keen to hear from those looking to buy or sell single books or entire libraries.
He has lived in Dorset for many years, currently in Lyme Regis. Once a keen triathlete, he now cycles regularly and runs only occasionally. An enthusiastic motorcycle tourist and a lover of contemporary art of all varieties, Matthew is a regular theatre and gallery goer.
