183 A DSO GROUP OF SIX TO THE RFA.
DSO awarded 1.1.1917 to Lt Col H E Molesworth, 1914/15 Star Major H E Molesworth, BWM & Victory medals (MID Emblem) named to Lt Col H E Molesworth. Special Constabulary Medal named to Herbert E Molesworth, Greek Military Cross 2nd Class, with star on ribbon dated 1914/17 on reverse, the six mounted for wear.
Two Photograph Albums of the Great War, India and family scenes. Three MID certificates 30/11/1915, 08/10/1916, 25/03/1918. Also award documents for the CMG 1919 , DSO 1917, an original photograph of Colonel Molesworth wearing his medals.
Born in 1872, 2/Lt 23/11/91 RFA, Lt 23/11/94, Cpt 4/12/99, Mjr 9/5/12, T Lt Col 3/6/16, Lt Col 1/76/17. F&F 10/12/14-19/12/1915. Greek Macedonia, Serbia, Bulgaria, European Turkey and the Islands of the Aegean Sea 29/12/1915-11/11/1918.
Educated at Westward Ho US College and RMC. Served also in India according to the Photograph Albums with the 2nd M Battery Indian Artillery. A member of the family of Viscount Molesworth ( See Burkes Peerage etc).

184 A 1914/15 TRIO AND PLAQUE TO THE NZEF.
1914/15 Star named to 12/1931 Pte P W Craswell NZEF. The plaque has the engraved naming not raised, Percy Wylie Craswell in case of issue. A Board of Trade book containing Certificates of Discharge, for Percy Craswell from 1902 onwards. His original Army Paybook has missing believed killed 4/10/1917 written in it.

192 AN IGS 1895/BOER WAR PAIR TO A RIFLE BRIGADE CASUALTY.
IGS 1895 bar Punjab Frontier 1897-98, named to Lieut E G Campbell 3rd Battn Rifle Brigade. Queens South Africa medal single bar Belfast, named to Captain E G Campbell Rifle Brigade. Died of Wounds, 23rd July 1900.
Details from The Last Post: Captain Ernest George Campbell 4th Battn Rifle Brigade, died on July 23rd 1900 of wounds received two days previously in action near Bergendal. he was born in June 1973, educated at Eton (Mr Austen Leighs), and entered the Rifle Brigade in December 1892, being promoted Lieut in July 1895 and Captain April 1900. He served with the Tochi Field Force in the operations on the North west Frontier of India, in 1897-98 and was granted the medal with clasp. Captain Campbell fell while leading his men to storm a strong Boer position at Bergendal. Sir R Buller in his despatch of September 13th, 1900, much regrets the death of Captain Campbell who lead his company ' Most Gallantly', L.G Feb 8th 1901. Despatches.

210 GOLD AND SILVER CYCLING MEDALS AWARDED TO H E FERRIS.
Together with his more well known brother Sid Ferris, a cyclist of renown. He competed in Solo, Tandem and Tricycle classes for over 30 years. (9) Gold awards (9ct) from the Charlotteville Cycling Club (Guilford) almost all were at that time Club Records 1928-1959. (9) 9ct Gold Medals from the Vegetarian and Athletic Club dated between 1925-1934.Again for the three classes including '210 miles on a Tricycle in 12hrs, a Club Record. Another London to Bath and back, RRA Record 12hrs-2m-23s. (5) Gold awards South Western Cycling Club, 1932/33 in Solo and Tandem classes. A gold Southern Roads Medallion in 12hrs 201 mls, 3 Furlongs. etc (27). He also won a further (57) Silver awards from among others The Calleva Road Club, Southern Roads, Southern Counties Cycling Union, Southwest Roads Club, again Charlotteville and the Vegetarians & Atheletic Clubs among others. A further quantity of Bronze etc awards from the aforementioned Clubs.
Sold together with a Pewter Bowl presented to H E Ferris Westerley Rd handicap 1932. Also Cigarette Card pictures of Sid Ferris and a newspaper cutting of H E G Ferris and Harris finishing 3rd 1933
