63 A SILVER MOUNTED PRESENTATION 1827 PATTERN SWORD.
Solid silver hilt with the marks of Peter Firmin 1862, with silver scabbard mounts over nickel scabbard. The 1827 pattern sword is ornately engraved with foilage, escutcheon and the presentation details etched in the centre. Presented to Captain R Comyn by the non commissioned officers and privates of the 22 K.R.V. As a slight token of respect and esteem. Sheerness. 1862.
