with engraved numerals on the rim, the inner bands with Months of the year and Compass points. Engraved signature, Yeates & Son Dublin. 520 A 1st CLASS SHIPS WINE FUNNEL.
Brass and copper with silver plated inner bowl, Holland-Amerika-Lijn. SS Nieuw Amsterdam on brass plaque. 3.5" diameter, 4.5" high. Considered the finest ship ever built in Holland, during the war she was used a Troop Ship by the Allies. Having transported 350,000 troops, she stayed in service until 1974 when she was scrapped.

533 ICE HOCKEY SIGNED CUT OUT PHOTOGRAPHS
made in wood, with cut out photographs placed on top. One is signed by Gordon Dailly, a player who was part of Great Britain's winning Olympic Ice Hockey team in 1936. The other is signed by Raul Bates, and both have Wembley Shirts on, possibly when both were part of the Wermbley Monarch's Ice Hockey Team before the war.
*Colonel Gordon ' Don ' Dailly (1911-1989) was originally from Canada, but after moving to England represented Great Britain at Ice Hockey, most notably at the 1936 Olympics. He went on to have a successful military career in World War II and Korea.
