The second album is of merchant and naval Ships, Ports and related scenes from and on the SS Adriatic launched 17th October 1871. She won the Blue Riband at 14.5 knots crossing the Atlantic to New York. Photographs of HMS Good Hope C1904 are also in the album. She was a Cruiser of 14,000 Tons sunk at the Battle of the Coronel, by The Scharnorst and the Gniesenau with the loss of all her 900 crew.
