Engraved gilt finish scabbard and very clean fouled anchor etched blade. Marked Original Eickhorn of Solingen. Owned by a U-Boat Officer captured C1942/43, it was returned to his parents in Germany at that time. POW in the West Country, he married a local girl. Returning to visit his family in the 1950's, he was re-united with his dagger. Attached to the belt is a U Boat Clasp marked Schwerin Berlin 88, his original badge.
