SIR RICHARD GEORGE AUGUSTUS LEVINGE, Bt. (1811-1884) FLORENCE Signed with initials and dated May/ 42, grey and brown wash with black chalk, heightened with white 27 x 40.5cm. Provenance: Acquired by the vendor's father in Dublin in the 1960's. Canadian subjects by Levinge were sold at Sothebys (Toronto and London), 1968-1969, and an example of his work is in the Toronto University Library. He published four books on hunting, military and genealogy between 1846 and 1873. £200-300 Slight light staining
